If you show up at the Annual Palm Sunday Extravaganza at Tradewinds Tropical Lounge and don't like the music, wait a minute. This yearly event changes the act every 40 to 75 minutes, showcasing 11 singers and bands in 12 hours, from 1:00 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 13, to 1:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025.

As a seasoned songwriter, her song "On and On" was well received at Prairie Creek Lodge, along with Erin McConnell and Elaine Mahon on slide guitar. "Sweetwater Preserve” received a Best New Florida Song Award at the 2022 Will McLean Festival, with its lovely finger picking and vocals.

Richard Kuncicky, Mark Evans, and Joe Fitzgerald are well-known in St. Augustine as composers, songwriters, vocalists, and guitarists. Richard and Mark often perform solo gigs at several St. Augustine venues, and Joe is sought after as a bassist and vocalist. Together, the three men perform as a trio, enabling them to expand their sound and repertoire and to have fun with guitar solos and harmony.

From North Carolina, Josh Goforth grabbed onto his musical and storytelling heritage when he was young and created a career that includes teaching at the Academy for the Arts in Asheville and performing worldwide. From a musical and church family, Josh played piano at the church when he was four. Later, one of his great-uncles gave him a guitar, and he began attending a weekly local jam session. Through his teen years, he learned from several local North Carolina masters of storytelling and music.

Eric Searcy performs as a solo act and is also part of the local bluegrass band, Driftwoods. Known for stepping on stage with his enthusiastic energy and fine banjo skills, this Florida native has more than 30 years of music experience. Besides playing the banjo, he practices the dobro, a resonator guitar which has a metallic tone and a more amplified sound. Searcy's voice brings both warmth and a powerful energy that pairs well with bluegrass and old-time tunes that crowds continue to celebrate.
