Reiter Roofing presents the 2025 Vilano Bridge 5K & 10K at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The event begins at the North Shores Community Center. Proceeds from this race benefit the North Shores Improvement Association (NSIA), with a portion of the proceeds going to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.

A family one-mile fun run takes place immediately after the 5K & 10K runs. Participants celebrate their race achievements during the post-race celebration with food, beer, and music.

TropiCon Book Expo brings more 80 fiction authors to St. Augustine, providing the opportunity to meet them at several events. The weekend begins with an author's mingle on Thursday, February 22, at 7:00 p.m., and ends with a book signing event on Sunday, February 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Organized by U.S.A. best-selling author Lynessa Layne, TropiCon offers important seminars to writers and lets readers meet some of their favorite authors.

The Lightner Museum presents works by sculptor Joe Segal beginning on St. Augustine's First Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. After this opening, the exhibit will continue through April 14, 2024. 

From New York, Joe Segal graduated from Flagler College with a degree in visual arts and later studied bronze casting in New York. Segal has a minimalist style that uses the features of the materials to guide his art. He describes his work as "man's need for order intersecting with the order of nature."

Ann McCutchan's book, The Life She Wished to Live: A Biography of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, was released in 2021. Described as comprehensive and engaging, the book examines the life of the tough, ambitious Rawlings, her writing style, accomplishments, and challenges. 

The lunch and learn event on Saturday includes a tour of the Peña Peck house, a buffet picnic lunch, and a talk with Ann McCutchan, a trained classical clarinetist and accomplished author. McCutchan's prior books have been about music, composers, and the Space Coast.

Craig Smith is an Iowa-born reggae cover song performer with loads of vocal juice and a great guitar sound. Having started gigging near his hometown of Davenport, Iowa when he was 19 years, old, he is now based in the Jacksonville Beach area. Rooted in the early influences of Jimmy Paige and Jimi Hendricks, or more contemporary guitarists such as Jack Johnson or Dave Matthews, Smith's sound is an extensive cover list of crowd-pleasing favorites.

The St. Augustine Music Festival (SAMF) presents their fourth Juneteenth Concert on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., at Lewis Auditorium.

Marcus Roberts will perform with the Modern Jazz Generation, featuring Jason Marsalis on drums and Rodney Jordan on bass. They will perform Marcus Roberts' program, From New Orleans to Harlem, which includes songs by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Jelly Roll Morton, and Fats Waller.
