Ancient City Junior Game Fish Challenge

The Ancient City Gamefish Association hosts the annual Ancient City Junior Kingfish Challenge from Thursday, June 27, 2024, to Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor. This event is for children 15 years of age or younger.

This is a King Mackerel aggregate tournament where only the two largest fish will be weighed, and each boat can win only one prize. This tournament also coincides with the Ancient City Kingfish Challenge.

There is a mandatory Captains' meeting at the Northeast Florida Marlin Club at 3030 Harbor Drive at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Final registration for this event is Thursday, June 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Camachee Cove Marina, Northeast Florida Marlin Association Clubhouse. This junior angler tournament begins at 7:00 a.m. on Friday with weigh-in between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Ancient City Junior Kingfish Challenge is a part of the Ancient City Challenge Tournaments, which also includes the Ancient City Red Fish Bash, the Ancient City Junior Red Fish Bash, and the Ancient City Kingfish Challenge. See all tournament rules for this event.
