Nat & Alex Wolff
Two young brothers discover and experiment with their alternative sound.
Nat & Alex Wolff were born and raised in New York City, one of the most art-rich cities in the world. This sibling duo shares their passion for music and acting with their parents, Michael (jazz pianist/composer) and Polly (actress, writer, producer, and director). The brothers are best known for their hit Nickelodeon show and musical group by the same name, The Naked Brothers Band. After the show ended in 2009, the brothers started making pop, rock, alternative, and indie music together.
Their debut album, Black Sheep (2011), showcases the young duo's talent for sound, instrument, and lyric experimentation. Throwbacks (2013) followed shortly after, which features unreleased, original songs recorded during their time on Nickelodeon. Although the next project, Public Places (2016), gives fans a glimpse of maturity, Table For Two (2023) vastly differs from their prior work. With a more cohesive sound and the highest quality production, audiences are paying attention to their elevated storytelling. By merging Nat's and Alex's strengths, the sum is stronger that the individual parts.
They continue to showcase their abilities on screen as well as both brothers have acting roles, too. Nat stars in blockbusters — The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, and Which Brings Me to You — and Alex in award-winning films — Hereditary and Oppenheimer. They recently reunited as costars in the comedy film, Stella's Last Weekend, written and directed by their mother.
The Wolff brothers are currently on tour and will stop at the 2024 Sing Out Loud festival in the Ancient City. Good vibes and interactive performances are guaranteed—check out other festival performers such as Sierra Ferrell, Noah Kahan, Marcus King, and Eric Church.
