Like so many musicians who play festivals and small venues, Scott Jackson has a day job. That is, as Dr. Scott Jackson to his dental patients in Ocala. A few of his bands have been with other dentists, and now he is focusing on going solo on stage.
Fun-loving tribute band that only covers songs by female artists
Based in Jacksonville, Glory Tributes (‘Glory’ for short) is a fun-loving cover band that specializes in songs by female artists. Their setlists are star-studded affairs — from dance pop songs from artists like P!nk and Rihanna to Rock n’ Roll classics by Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks. Glory promises to keep their audiences (women and men alike) on their feet all throughout their live shows.
Created by an award-winning writer, this play examines Colorism and features dances from the classic Cake Walk Competition.
The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center Presents the play "Color Struck" from Friday to Sunday, April 28 to April 30, 2023. On April 28 and April 29, 2023, Color Struck will be performed from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The final performance is on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to the performance on Sunday, there will be a brief discussion about the play by members of the production.

Husband and wife duo, Wayne and Jane Sims, tackle the topic of dining in St. Augustine with a look at the past and the present in "Eat Your Heart Out: How St. Augustine Became a Mecca for Fine Dining." This event for Romanza Festivale takes place on Monday, May 8, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Waterworks.

The menu features Greek items such as gyros, pita bowls, spanakopita, and dolmades. It serves Dominican delicacies such as pastilitos, a nacho bowl, and a roast pork Dominican sandwich. Plus it offers street food such as pastrami sandwiches and funnel cake fries.
With the Bronx Street Food Truck, diners can also build their own bowls by selecting a base, a protein, a topping, and a sauce.
