The Northeast Florida Marlin Association hosts the 53rd Annual Salt Life Bluewater Tournament from Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor. This tournament represents the second stage of the Sport Fishing Championship, an 11-event series aimed at determining the ultimate offshore fishing champion. This is a Captain's choice tournament allowing participants to choose fishing days during the tournament to target a wide variety of pelagic species, such as marlin, kingfish, and tuna.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the ACCORD Civil Rights Museum & Freedom Trail invites the public to St. Paul AME Church for free a day of education through literature and film. On Sunday, July 14 at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the St. Augustine Film Society presents a French showing of Pierre Durand and his gold-medalist horse, Jappeloup (2013).

Directed by Christian Duguay, the film follows the true story of the show-jumping horse, Jappeloup de Luze, and equestrian Pierre Durand. As the duo progresses on the competition trail, the horse's flaws are perfected through hard work and persistence. After coming off a failure in the Los Angeles Olympics, all is in place for a stellar performance at the 1988 games in Seoul.

Dianne Jacoby is a historical dramatist who has taken on the personas of historical figures from four centuries. She is an adjunct professor at Stetson University and coordinates the university's Roadscholar programs. Dianne brings history alive through costume, speech, stories, and dialect.
