Now, you can gather with family and friends at the luxurious and extensive Yallaha at Griffin Estate. This newly restored historic home sits on an expansive tract of land in Lincolnville, just a half-mile or a 15-minute walk to the Plaza de la Constitución.
This is the perfect property for a multi-generational family gathering, a vacation retreat for several young families, a long weekend with a group of friends, or a wedding party retreat.
The spacious home has a large great room with a chef's kitchen, gathering space, and a dining table with space for up to 16 people. On the other end of the ground floor, a restored 17th-century guard house has been transformed into a library and retreat with a pool table and wet bar.
There are bedrooms and en suites on the first and second floors, with room for 14 guests to sleep comfortably. A ramp into the building provides an accessible entry near the great room. The pool deck, first-floor common spaces, and one en suite are accessible for those who need a wheelchair.
The grounds include a pool with several conversation groupings on the adjacent deck, and seating areas in the gardens and on the porches where two or more can gather for quiet conversation.

Extras
This building is the oldest surviving home in the Lincolnville neighborhood. The original section was built of coquina circa 1810. A wood frame addition was built in approximately 1845 and the property has been remodeled several times. In the 1800s, the home was part of a large orange grove, and the current owners have added orange trees to the property. The pool area features a beautiful mural of orange trees laden with fruit.
This vacation rental has been fully updated to provide modern comfort and safety features while paying homage to the past. During restoration, several architectural features were exposed, such as the historic coquina walls of the original guard house and sections of the roof structure on the second floor.
This historic property is only minutes from the heart of St. Augustine's Historic Downtown, several houses of worship, restaurants, shops, and attractions.
