Anastasia Island stretches 14 miles along the coast, from the sandbars at Anastasia State Park down to the Matanzas Inlet, just past the Fort Matanzas Monument. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Matanzas River on the west, this narrow barrier island is full of experiences—from beach lounging and seafood dining to lighthouse climbs and live concerts. Many of our most popular beaches can be found on Anastasia Island, as well as luxurious resorts, convenient hotels, popular attractions, and the City of St. Augustine Beach.

Anastasia Island is a 14-mile-long barrier island off Florida's Northeast Atlantic coast. It's bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Matanzas River to the west, offering a mix of beautiful beaches, parks, and residential areas. ​

Bridge of Lions (North): Connects downtown St. Augustine to the island.

State Road 206 (South): Connects Crescent Beach to the mainland.

St. Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach are great spots for surfing while guests can take advantage of kayaking and paddleboarding in Anastasia State Park and fishing around the beaches and in the Matanzas River.
