Sitting on 20 acres of a private, gated old Florida estate, Camp St. Augustine offers visitors a more secluded location for camping, close to the activities in and around St. Augustine. Located in West St. Augustine, Camp St. Augustine is 15 minutes from I-95, and offers a relaxed, wooded location near two fresh-water lakes, less than four miles from St. Augustine's Historic Downtown.

Campgrounds & Amenities

The campground's main gates offer easy access for RVs, and a gravel road leads to the camping sites. The property borders Douglas Lake — guests are invited to fish and canoe on this 19-acre lake. In addition to RV and tent sites, it also offers one Airstream rental trailer that sleeps four.

The 20-acre property is a mix of woodlands with campsites. Those who enjoy walks in the woods will find one large wooded road around the entire property, plus several creeks and hiking trails among ferns, large hardwoods, pines, palms, and other natural vegetation. This wooded and secluded campground offers a limited number of camping opportunities:

• Nine RV hookups with sewer, water, and electric
• RV and boat storage

The site is less than four miles west of the Historic Downtown, and roughly seven miles from two popular area beaches, Vilano Beach and Anastasia State Park. Two Publix grocery stores are located within three miles of the campground.
