A family-owned business, Fishbites began as an online store catering to fishing enthusiasts. Marine researcher, angler, and owner, Dr. Bill Carr engineered a new and effective fish bait based on scent and flavor and began marketing his invention with excellent results. 

Expanding to a brick-and-mortar location, Carr brought his ever-popular products and passion for fishing to Fishbites Trading Post on Nix Boat Yard Road, also known as Fishbites Trading Post Tackle Shop and Liar's Club.

Fishbites Trading Post sells saltwater bait, freshwater bait, tackle, fishing lines and accessories as well as reels and rods. Coolers, hats, footwear, and tumblers are also available. A leading bait shop in Northeast Florida since 2020, Fishbites has all your fishing needs covered.
